Academic Success Coaching @ VRSC!
The VRSC has partnered with the Academic Success Center to provide dedicated academic skill building/coaching support to veterans and dependents at A&M. The Academic Success Center recently hired an Academic Coach specifically to work with veterans and dependents with established office hours in the VRSC. Mike Dvoracek ’87 is an A&M graduate who recently retired from the Army. Mike offers a full array of services to help build or reinforce your academic skills – from simply connecting you with resources like Supplemental Instruction or Tutoring, to discussing time management tools or reading and note-taking strategies, all the way to individualized academic coaching sessions to develop the right skills to make you successful.
We encourage you to make an appointment or drop in and visit with Mike early before you start to have any issues with your courses. He also has hours in the Academic Success Center on the 9th Floor of Rudder Tower if those times don’t work with your schedule.
