About SVA:
The mission of the Student Veterans of America at Texas A&M University is to provide our veterans and military-affiliated students support, networking assistance, and advocacy throughout higher education for a successful transition and experience.
All currently enrolled student veterans at Texas A&M and its branch/satellite campuses are considered members of the SVA. Membership begins immediately upon enrollment at Texas A&M and there are no membership dues.
General Meetings and Events:
We host general meetings and events throughout each semester. Professional development opportunities such as etiquette dinners, professional headshots, resume & business card workshops, and networking, etc. are hosted year-round.
In the Fall, we host tailgates for certain home games. In the Spring we host a Military Ball.
Most of our events are free to attend. Additionally, the SVA believes strongly in continuous service and we coordinate opportunities to serve our community throughout the year. We hope to see you at some of our events and serving alongside us in the community! Follow our calendar to stay up-to-date on events and service opportunities.
