ABOUT THE VRSC
Over a Century of Support...
Texas A&M University has served student veterans since 1919 and is a national leader in service to our student veterans, active duty, military dependents, and survivors. In 1946, student veterans comprised 73% of the total enrollment. To better serve Post-9/11 veterans, Texas A&M University opened the Veteran Resource & Support Center. In partnership with Scholarships & Financial Aid, both offices create fantastic opportunities for student veteran success!
Mission
The Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource & Support Center (VRSC) identifies, develops, and provides uniquely tailored services that enhance academic success and holistic development of Veterans & Military-Affiliated students (Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, Military Families, and Survivors). The VRSC facilitates the Veteran & Military-Affiliated transitions by integrating the Aggie Core Values with the foundational VRSC philosophy of Serve Well Those Who Have Served.
