Howdy and Welcome to Texas A&M University Veteran Resource & Support Center!

About Us

The Veteran Resource and Support Center (VRSC) provides caring and personalized support to Aggie undergraduate and graduate student veterans. Opened in 2012, the VRSC helps our veterans navigate Texas A&M and provide a welcoming space, peer mentoring, and tools to succeed academically and personally.

Whether you are a new student veteran who has completed your service, or who has interrupted your education to serve and are now returning, or began your studies elsewhere and are transferring here, we will help guide you to the resources you need to make the most of your Aggie experience.

The VRSC supports Texas A&M’s Division of Student Affairs vision of preeminence by identifying, developing, and providing uniquely tailored services that enhance academic success and holistic development among Veterans & Military-Affiliated students which include: Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, Military Families, and Survivors. The VRSC facilitates the Aggie Veteran & Military-Affiliated transitions by integrating the Aggie Core Values with the foundational VRSC philosophy of Serve Well Those Who Have Served.

In support of the Texas A&M University mission, the VRSC will be the national preeminent leader for the development and implementation of best practices for the advancement of Veteran & Military-Affiliated student success. The VRSC will efficiently maximize support for this diverse student population by designing unique, purposeful, and intentional services that ensure academic and holistic transition from application to vocation.   As a focal point for Veteran & Military-Affiliated student transition programs and services, the VRSC will emphasize innovative collaboration to engage others who are committed to raising awareness and success of these students.
