A Letter from the Director

Howdy and welcome to the Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource & Support Center (VRSC), a department within the Texas A&M University Division of Student Affairs.

The VRSC is dedicated to supporting currently enrolled Texas A&M University veteran and military students by providing resources, programming, advocacy, and subject matter expertise that foster academic success, personal well-being, and professional development.

We proudly serve:

• Veterans pursuing their degrees and preparing to carry the leadership, discipline, and experience gained through military service into careers across the public and private sectors. Our veteran students represent every branch of service, a wide range of military experiences, and the proud tradition of serving our nation.
• Reservists who balance the demands of higher education while maintaining readiness through continued training with their military units.
• National Guard members whose unique state and federal responsibilities require them to be prepared to answer the call to serve at a moment’s notice.
• Active-duty service members expanding their education while continuing to serve in the defense of our nation.
• Military spouses and dependent family members whose resilience, sacrifice, and support are essential to the success of America’s military families.

The VRSC staff is committed to connecting students with the right resources at the right time. We support undergraduate, graduate, and professional students across all Texas A&M campuses and through distance education programs in areas including:
