Assists with military activations & deployments, withdrawals and re-entry to Texas A&M. Military Admissions is dedicated to providing transitional support and admissions advising to prospective undergraduate student veterans, current military members, spouses and dependents. Military Admissions counselors can guide you through the freshman and transfer admissions processes, evaluate college credits from previous institutions and assist with choosing a major by discussing your career goals.

The university libraries offer open educational resources, course reserves and more to facilitate your academic success.

The Department of Global Engagement offers students the chance to study, intern, volunteer or research abroad—an Aggie tradition that supports global learning. Veteran education benefits may apply if you participate in an education abroad program.

The VRSC offers over 150 scholarships for veteran & military students through the UWIDE Continuing Student application. The VRSC Scholarship Program is designed to provide general financial assistance to veteran and military students and/or their enrolled spouses. Additionally, the VRSC also offers Aggie Ring Scholarships for qualifying veteran and military students.

One-time financial assistance, up to $1,500, is available for veteran and military students encountering unexpected financial burdens. SAVE Funds are only issued to currently enrolled Aggie Veterans for unexpected and urgent circumstances that may affect your ability to remain enrolled. Financial assistance for childcare is available for qualifying veteran and military students to help offset the cost of childcare necessary for academic attendance and related activities. The program also provides connections and information on researched childcare facilities within the community. Military Education Benefits are processed by a specialized team embedded within Scholarships & Financial Aid. Depending on your program or location, you may have a point of contact for customer service that is different that the Aggie One Stop.

This VA program offers an on-campus counselor who is here to assist you in making sure you have access to everything you need from the VA to be successful in your academic pursuits. Our VSOC is also a Veteran Readiness & Employment (Ch. 31-VRE) Counselor.

Brazos County Veteran Services Office and the VRSC have partnered to provide currently enrolled veteran students at Texas A&M county veteran services in the convenience of the VRSC. County veteran services can assist with VA claims, discharge reviews, burial benefits and more.

The Career Center provides general career advising, workshops, programs and career fairs/events all aimed at preparing for post-graduation success. The center also has Career Advisors embedded within each college to provide students with 1:1 advising for their major-related specific employment goals.

Veteran Aggie Leaders for Outreach, Research, & Resources (VALOR²) is a peer led outreach program that engages student veterans to assess and align critical resource needs to facilitate academic, financial, personal, and career success during the transitions to, through, and beyond Texas A&M.

Virtual Town Halls with VALOR²: Designed to bring our satellite and distance learners together, these peer-led town halls offer resources, camaraderie, and a space for feedback and connection among Aggies outside of Aggieland. Watch Canvas for dates and details.

This partnership program with University Health Services provides veteran and military students with a mental health resource within the VRSC, along with workshops and programming to address all aspects of wellness.
