The rising cost of childcare coupled with the limited options for childcare continue to present a challenge for some student veterans - particularly those of a single parent status. This led to the creation of the SAVE-SP Program in 2020 and eligible Aggie Veterans can now apply to receive this financial assistance. In addition to the financial assistance offered through SAVE-SP, the program also provides connections and information on researched childcare facilities within the community as a resource for Aggie Veterans and their families. It is the hope of the VRSC that no Aggie Veteran's education be interrupted or negatively impacted due to a childcare need.
