Class of '69 Vietnam War Memorial
Erected in 1996, the Class of '69 Vietnam War Memorial honors the 11 known Aggies from the Class of '69 who died in service during the U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War.

Dedicated by the Aggie Class of 1969, the 3-foot-tall black granite prism is located at the center of three converging walkways on the corner of Joe Routt Boulevard and Coke Street. The structure’s slanted top boasts an etched American flag and bronze Texas A&M seal, and its two front sides forever honor the lost by name, branch of service, hometown and date of death. The back of the structure holds a heartfelt dedication statement from the Class of 1969 to its fallen comrades. Surrounding the structure are six benches and 11 crepe myrtles, symbolizing the living memory of the 11 lost.
