Safeguarding one's mental health is paramount for life-long success and fulfillment. That's why the VRSC has partnered with a number of campus, local, and national entities to ensure access to mental health resources when you need it.

Campus & Local Resources
Our Veterans Integration To Academic Leadership (VITAL) Coordinator, Dr. Fred Washington, serves to connect our student veterans with the mental and physical health resources they need. Dr. Washington is also a licensed counselor who is available to our student veterans in the privacy and convenience of the VRSC. Texas A&M's Counseling & Psychological Services offers crisis intervention, individual, and group counseling to Texas A&M students. Visit their webpage for additional information and to set up an appointment.
Promises Brazos Valley is an addition treatment center that caters to adults and young adults, and is located in College Station. They offer both inpatient and outpatient treatment and rehabilitation. Visit their webpage for more information.
