ACADEMIC SUPPORT
- Military Admissions - Assists with Military Activations & Deployments, Withdrawals, and Re-Entry to Texas A&M.
- TAMU Libraries - Offers open educational resources (OER), course reserves, and more to facilitate your academic success.
- Education Abroad - Offers students the chance to study, intern, volunteer, or research abroad—an Aggie tradition that supports global learning.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
- Scholarships - The VRSC offers over 150 scholarships for veteran & military students through the UWIDE Continuing Student application.
- Aggie Ring Scholarships - Up to $500 for small (ladies) rings and $1000 for large (men's) rings are available for qualifying students in the year prior to graduation.
- Emergency Fund - One-time financial assistance (up to $1500) is available for veteran & military students encountering unexpected financial burdens.
- Childcare Assistance - Financial assistance for childcare is available for qualifying veteran & military students to help offset the cost of childcare necessary for academic attendance and related activities.


MILITARY BENEFITS AND ENTITLEMENT
- Military Education Benefits Contacts - Depending on your program or location, you may have a contact that is different from the Aggie One Stop. See the linked document to find your POC.
- Veteran Success on Campus - This VA program offers an on-campus counselor who is here to assist you in making sure you have access to everything you need from the VA to be successful in your academic pursuits. Our VSOC also happens to be a Veteran Readiness & Employment (Ch. 31-VRE) Counselor. Virtual appointments available for students located outside of Aggieland.
- Brazos County Veteran Services Officer - Offers assistance with VA claims, discharge reviews, burial benefits and more in the convenience and comfort of the VRSC.
CAREER PREPARATION
- Career Center - Provides 1:1 career advising, workshops, programs, and career fairs/events all aimed at preparing for post-graduation success.
- Veteran/Military Career Expo - Hosted by the Career Center, this virtual event is open to all veteran and military students. Keep an eye out for information on date/time each fall semester.


CONNECTION AND WELL-BEING
- VALOR2 - Veteran Aggie Leaders for Outreach, Research, and Resources (VALOR2) is the best way for veteran and military students to get involved and make an impact on their (and future students') Aggie experience.
- Virtual Town Halls - Designed to bring our satellite and distance learners together, these town halls offer resources, a space for feedback and connection among Aggies outside of Aggieland.
- MISSION: Wellness - This partnership program with University Health Services provides veteran and military students with a mental health resource within the VRSC, along with workshops and programming to address all aspects of wellness.
